Organic computer chips

There is a major breakthrough in the science field where scientists have found a new way to modify grapheme to make it act as an insulator. This will pave the way to build ‘organic’ computer chips from carbon, rather than silicon. Graphene is known to be an excellent conductor where the carbon is arranged in atom-thick sheets. Graphene can be easily modified to act as an insulator by adding hydrogen atoms to its surface. This new material grapheme is made by exposing a grapheme sheet to ionized hydrogen gas for some two hours.

I know bugger-all about any of this but I find it fascinating.

What are the benefits of organic computer chips? Faster? Smaller? Less heat emmission?
